Shane Brathwaite takes Silver at CWG .

Barbadian Shane Brathwaite takes Silver in the CWG 110MH with a time of 13.30.

It was an amazing performance and achievement for thirty two year Brathwaite at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

Brathwaite told the media , “I am so grateful for the support of my family who have been there every step of the way and also for the support I received from Barbados.”

He noted after losing his endorsement with adidas it was challenging and he hopes that this victory and silver medal will be a start of great things to come.

1st place was taken by Rasheed Broadwell of Jamaica with a time of 13:08 whilst Andrew Pozzi of England took bronze with a time of 13:37.
