On Saturday 23 July 2022 Barbadians will have an opportunity to enquire, register and gain valuable information on the affordable housing project under the umbrella of the National Housing Corporation (NHC).

The mortgage fair is set to take place at Golden Square, Freedom Park this Saturday and will run from 9:00am until 3:00pm. Credit unions and banking representatives from the various institutions will be on site with valuable information to assist people interested in owning a piece of the rock, in beautiful Barbados.

It is noted that those earning under $2000 monthly will be eligible to qualify for these homes as part of the HOPE Advance project that falls under the umbrella of the NHC and will include homes from the Guyanese Duravilla and East/West Corporation projects.

People who attended Agrofest 2022 will remember a similar display of one of these houses was on view for persons interested in knowing the outward and inner appearance of the home and a final look when furnished.

At present, the HOPE Direct project caters to those who earn between $2000-$400 monthly.
